Nearby Airports
All Roads Lead to Prosecco
Hot tip: If we were coming from Canada, we'd try to land somewhere else in Europe first (flying into Italy directly can be expensive), and then catch a regional flight (Eg. RyanAir) into one of these airports nearby.
Venice Airport
1 Hour away by car
Venice is the largest international airport nearby, with daily flights direct from Toronto. It's also the most expensive to fly into - so if you're already in Europe, we recommend the next options.
Verona Airport
2 Hours away by car
A regional airport that is serviced by Air Dolomiti. Lots of cheap daily flights into Verona from all over Europe.
Bologna Airport
2.5 Hours away by car
Same as Verona - A regional airport that is serviced by Air Dolomiti and RyanAir. Lots of cheap daily flights into Bologna from all over Europe.

We've rented an entire hotel out from July 9-12th, and have 12 rooms on a first-come-first serve basis
(it's also our wedding venue!)
We also understand if you want to do your own thing nearby. There's plenty of Airbnb options available!

We've rented out the entire hotel, and will be having our wedding here. The hotel has a total of 12 rooms, and we can offer it on a first-come-first-serve basis. Breakfast is included with the stay.

We've also got a room block at Hotel Villaguarda. It's great! We've stayed here before and loved it. On the night of the wedding, we'll have a shuttle bus running between Villaguarda and the venue.

Dress Code for the Wedding
The dress code for the wedding will be summer cocktail / formal attire. For the day before/after the wedding there is no specific requirements.
Ladies, think colourful, bright and light (Italy in July = HOT).
Gentleman, wear a suit. Tie is optional.

Monetary gifts preferred.

What is the currency?
Euro for spending money. A lot of places prefer cash while other bigger establishments and restaurants do take credit card (no Amex), but you'll definitely need cash

Should I rent a car?
It's recommended! The area we're in is a little remote. We'll have a minibus service & Vespas rented for the pre-wedding winery tour + a Taxi service for the day of the wedding for anyone who is not staying at Duca Di Dolle

What should I pack?
Super casual, light clothing outside of the wedding. It will be hot during the day. Make sure to bring a bathing suit - there's a pool at the hotel and we have a spa rented out for the last day.

Cancellations?
While we are planning full steam ahead, we cannot predict unforeseen circumstances that may cause us to postpone the wedding date. Please be responsible in evaluating ways to secure your travel (hotels, flights, car rentals) by checking different options. We advise that you book with Airlines directly. Some Airlines offer flexible changes/credits or refundable tickets. Please decide which options are best for you. There are also insurance companies that offer 'cancel for any reason' policies (such as CAA, Tugo, ex) but please ensure you are double checking their policies, coverage, pricing to compare.
